Welcome to the Grid.
Making our way up your podcast podium.
About the podcast.
When looking for ways to follow F1, us gals noticed that there were very few US-based F1 fan podcasts. Most existed were extremely technical in nature and aimed towards more experienced fans. We wanted to build a space where fans could talk more casually about the sport, like having a chat with your friends over a cup of coffee or a cocktail. We hope you enjoy our show.
Like any F1 team, we would be nothing without our crew. A huge shoutout to our technical team of Rory Dayton and Alex Gillespie for helping get us up and running!
We are incredibly grateful to our listeners for supporting our show. Thank you for allowing us to share our love of F1 with you each week. If you have any comments, questions, or feedback head to our Contact page or hit up our Socials to let us know - we would love to hear from you!
Meet the Gals.
MARY FREDENDALL
Mary was born and raised in Metro Detroit and moved to Chicago after graduation. Her first car was a Ford Windstar which she was yelled at for driving with a lead foot, although she has miraculously never received a speeding ticket.
She supports Ferrari as a team, but is first and foremost a Sebastian Vettel fan. When she’s not busy with the podcast she enjoys reading, trying out new recipes, and playing bar trivia with her friends
JACQUELINE LAPRES
Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan, Jacqueline (Jacq) relocated to Chicago after graduating college. Her first car was a tan Ford Freestyle which she commonly referred to as her stylish mom vehicle while carting around her grateful friends (5 star rating).
She is team McLaren, a Daniel Ricciardo fan, and almost always wears her McLaren hat while recording. When she’s not busy podcasting, Jacqueline enjoys running, binging the newest TV show, planning her next travel destination, and is good for at least one random fact at bar trivia.
KATHRYN PATTON
Kathryn was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Chicago when she graduated college. Her first car was a Toyota Rav4, in which she accumulated enough speeding tickets to require her to retake the written driving exam and drove it so hard that it lost first gear.
Kathryn is a long-time Red Bull fan whether it be energy drinks or racing. When she’s not busy with the podcast she enjoys running, sampling the new recipes Mary makes, and pretending she is decent at bar trivia.
